Almarai started their business with 300 cows and
it was founded in 1977 .Now they own a herd of 135,000 Holstein cows which are
a very high quality for production, and came from the Netherlands. Almarai have
6 super farms located outside Riyadh where the cows get 24 hour attention and
in the end they produce about 2.5 million liters a day. Around two thirds of
the milk is used for other dairy products .After the milk is bottled it is kept in
cold storage. Around 50 years ago the Arabs was used to get milk from goats and camel now they are the best in milk production
